VON RAMMSTEIN ROTTWEILERS
ABOUT US

If you are concidering getting a Rottweiler there are many things you need to know about them and us. Most importantly we do not breed or sell pets. Our Rottweilers are extended members of our FAMILY. We offer people the opportunity to purchase an extended member to their FAMILIES. We also will not ship our puppies. Would you create up your 8 week old newborn baby and send it off to wherever? If you're serious and ready to own a Rottweiler then you're committed and willing to make the drive to our home to meet them and us. If you can't get out of your car or walk through our door then you're definitely not ready to own a Rottweiler. In closing a dog of any breed is a living, loving member of your FAMILY and does not want to be thrown outside on a chain in the elements to live out its life. If thats what you're looking for in a pet you're at the wrong breeder. We require a prescreen application for all potential owners. We hope you share our same values and we thank you for your intrest in our Rottweilers.

ROTTWEILERS AT A GLANCE

Not recommended for first-time owners, the rottweiler needs extensive and continous socialization to be a good family companion. Well-socialized rottweilers get along nicely with people and other dogs, but males in particular can be a bit aggressive and dominant. Active, intelligent dogs, they are fully confident enough to act on their own, so they need guidance right from the start. Their courage is unqestioned, but it can be misdirected. However, this intelligent, confident dog is easy to keep in spite of the size.
This breed is definitely one that should be purchased from a reputable breeder, because its popularity has led to some temperment and health problems.
Rottweilers almost became extinct near the late 1800s when smaller dogs assumed many of their functions and were easier to maintain. Luckily, dedicated breeders revived the breed, and it ranks one of the most popular breeds in the United States. Can you imagin to have never gotten to know this beautiful, loving dog?
